Your opportunity 

We are beginning to scale up the go-to-market functions at Tinybird and are looking to add our first US sales reps to an existing team of high-performers. As part of our team you’ll be responsible for an assigned territory with massive potential. If you are motivated by the impact you can have as an early team member then please read on! 

Your responsibilities

  • Proactively source new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and attending industry events
  • Lead full-cycle sales campaigns and help Tinybird establish “Customers For Life” through close collaboration with Tinybird team members across technical and commercial functions
  • Take an active role in helping the sales department sustain a work culture of continuous learning and customer enablement
  • Build positive brand recognition in your assigned territory with technical and business stakeholders that fit our ideal customer profile
  • Actively collaborate with our Product and Customer Success teams to ensure an outstanding experience for our customers and maximize our revenue growth
  • Adhere to operational best practices as required to ensure Tinybird can predictably scale the business to achieve its aggressive growth objectives

What you bring to the team

  • Verifiable history of setting and beating aggressive sales targets for a new SaaS product (i.e. not a “name brand” yet), inclusive of consistently building pipeline and closing “land-and-expand” contracts
  • Enthusiasm to sell a technical product to CTOs, CDOs, VPs/Directors of Engineering, Developers, etc.
  • Demonstrated aptitude selling a technical product, ideally in the real-time data, data infrastructure and / or analytics space
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Track record of job stability and/or upward career progression

  • Competitive Package Based on your experience and market, you will receive a competitive salary, uncapped variable earning potential, and valuable stock options
  • Unlimited PTO We will not count the days you take off, but we insist you take at least 22 days off per year. Plus, your birthday off and public holidays, but... who’s counting?

  • Equipment of your choice. You get to choose the equipment you need to do your best work ($2,600 budget).
