Tinybird enables developers and data teams to build Realtime Data Products at any scale. We help companies ingest millions of rows per second and power their analytical applications via low-latency, high-concurrency SQL based APIs. 

We are deeply focused on improving the developer experience of building highly scalable data applications over any amount of Data. There is a huge opportunity to change how Data Products are developed across different industries and we intend to seize it. 

Our founding team has a combined experience of over 60 years building cloud and data intensive products serving organisations all over the world, and we are backed by investors who have built or are building some of the most relevant developer tools out there, like Nat Friedman (GitHub CEO), Nicolas Dessaigne (Algolia co-founder) or Guillermo Rauch (Vercel CEO), among many others.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking experienced SaaS Account Executives to drive our sales efforts in the US. Until now our sales have been purely founder driven and, while we have been pretty successful considering none of us had commercial experience, we feel now is the time to take Tinybird to the next stage. We are looking to kick-start our Sales team and identify, develop and close reference opportunities around our core use-cases.

Ours is a technical product, so you will ideally have some technical background/aptitude and experience working with or selling to technical teams. If SQL queries don’t scare you we *definitely* want to hear from you, but as long as you are curious to learn the most versatile and useful language in the world, you should reach out.

What will you be doing?

  • Help develop and refine a repeatable, scalable sales motion.
  • Define the sales cycle, from first touch through closing and successful onboarding.
  • Develop and run the entire sales process, spearheading the effort around every opportunity and rallying the team as needed in order to demo, quote, negotiate and close business.
  • Setting up and managing pre-sale POCs with prospects whenever appropriate.
  • Proactively source new leads and new business opportunities, generating, managing and forecasting a sales pipeline in your region.
  • Working closely with the founders and your colleagues to articulate and help fine-tune our message and drive our sales campaigns, improve our sales process from lead sourcing to deal negotiation, and communicate feedback from the prospects and identify opportunities to improve the product and/or marketing content.
  • Presenting our product and articulating its benefits to senior executives and data teams in client meetings, anticipating, managing and influencing prospect objections.
  • Building strong and long lasting relationships with the teams at the accounts as well as ensuring a high level of responsiveness during and after closing the opportunity.

  • We are a fully remote company, and not just because of COVID19, we have worked like that for many years. All of our previous companies were remote friendly companies.
  • We will provide you with up to €2400 to get the right setup at home if you need it. If you need more, just ask.
  • We are just starting up so your work will impact everything we do. We also believe in full transparency and you will always know what is going on.
