What are we looking for?

Tinybird is growing fast, so we are looking for a Head of People who will report directly to the COO. As a head of people, you will have the mission to ensure that the company has a high performing, motivated and professional team as per the expected challenges of the company.

You will act as a champion for the company culture and will support the company executives and team leaders, allowing the company to develop and grow quickly. In this role you will be responsible for all human resources related activities.

What will you be doing?

  • Build the People team and become the owner of everything regarding compensation plans, career paths, training initiatives, etc...
  • Hire the best. We want your help to design standardised hiring processes across different departments in the company. We can only be the best if we’re hiring the best.
  • Help us reach operational excellence. We want to create the best environment for talent to develop and grow within Tinybird.

Some bits about the way we work

  • We are a fully remote company, and not just because of COVID19, we have worked like that for many years. All of our previous companies were remote friendly companies.
  • We will provide you with up to €2400 to get the right setup at home if you need it. If you need more, just ask.
  • We are just starting up so your work will impact everything we do. We also believe in full transparency and you will always know what is going on.
  • No politics.

What do you bring to the team?

  • Experience scaling teams before. Bonus points if those were technical teams.
  • You obsess about people. You love seeing them grow, listening to them when they are down and helping them get to the next step in their career.
  • You prefer listening over talking. You love paying attention to what people say "in between the lines" and how they react to different stimuli.
  • You have project management or other leadership experience. You prefer doing over talking. You believe speed wins.
  • You are an analytical, detail-oriented problem solver, with excellent communication skills and a desire to contribute to the Leadership team.

Compensation

  • €55-€60K, plus Stock Options
  • 23 days of holiday a year (plus your birthday and public holidays), but who's counting.
  • Freedom to work from wherever suits you best. Ideally London, Amsterdam, Madrid or Central Europe in general for the E.U.
