Product Designer

Who are we?

The Tinybird Design is a small team that works with the entire company to define the function and form of our product. We tackle diverse projects like:

• Help Product and Technology to define complex solutions from scratch.
• Mutate our public website to align it with our marketing needs.
• Design materials for both the marketing team and the sales team.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to build and iterate our UI Library.
• Talk with clients and data experts to gain insights about our platform and design a more meaningful product.
• Work closely with the Response Team to solve last-mile issues affecting our customers.

We have more interesting challenges ahead, so we are looking to grow and hire new designers that shake and add to our team.

Currently, the team is formed by Juanma, our Head of Design. He focuses his work on the visual designer, building and iterating most of our design requirements, working on projects from end to end, and reviewing most of the design that comes out from Tinybird. Former designer at New Relic, CARTO, Tuenti & The Cocktail, he loves motorbikes and is our own Norman Reedus.‍

Would you like...?

• Work with the product team to implement intuitive experiences that are cohesive and inclusive.
• Help to define the user experience of the Tinybird. From design research to customer flows and quick prototypes to validate design solutions.
• Assist the marketing team in materials and resources by providing strategic and creative solutions.
• Use, value, and redefine UI patterns: color, typography, iconography, illustrations, micro-interactions, etc.
• Coordinate project actions from initial requirements to the concept, interaction design, visual design, and development.
• Work autonomously. Take ownership of your work and effectively manage priorities.
  

We would like you to be...

• A Senior Designer with more than 5 years of experience in creative projects.
• Proactive and capable of contributing creative ideas and working as a team.
• Responsible for design concepts and assuming a leadership role in projects.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in digital design tools.
• A portfolio that demonstrates experience designing complex user workflows for integrated systems, information architecture, graphic/visual design, usability research/analysis.
• Willing to help, teach and share knowledge.
  

We provide

• Flexible office hours. At Tinybird we do not have fixed office hours. You manage your own time.
• Equipment of your choice. You get to choose. The maximum budget for it is €2400. 
• Paid travel. Whenever this is needed and agreed between the two parties.
